COVID-19: Additional Precautions

​We are in an unprecedented time of concern, closures and cancellations due to COVID-19. We want to reassure you, however, that we are operating as usual at Louis & Clark Pharmacy, with additional precautions in place for greater infection control.

To help prevent the spread of COVID-19, we will limit access to our waiting room and pickup area. We urge everyone to use our free delivery service. If you need immediate assistance and access to pharmacy services, please call 413-781-2996 and select option 3 then option 1, and a member of our team will be happy to assist.

We are committed to ensuring you receive the medications you need in a safe and timely manner, dependent on our suppliers. Our entire staff has been trained in proper handwashing, cleaning and infection control procedures, including our delivery drivers. Much of our prescription-filling process is automated, which reduces the number of people handling products. Employees with symptoms of illness are asked to stay at home until medically cleared.

We offer free prescription delivery within a 40-minute radius of our Springfield office. If you have not taken advantage of this service, we encourage you to do so, especially our elderly and immune-compromised patients who benefit the most from limited social contact. If your local loved ones do not receive free delivery from their pharmacy, we are happy to help them transfer their prescriptions to Louis & Clark so they can benefit from this service. In addition, through our website, you can easily manage your prescriptions and refills, request delivery, pay your bill and reach out to us with questions.

The health and wellness of our patients and staff are of the utmost importance to us. We are actively monitoring the news about the coronavirus COVID-19 and following recommendations from local, state and federal agencies, including the CDC (Centers for Disease Control).
